This picture (from the latest fandomsecrets post) made me grin far too much. Combined with my rather unexpected insane giggling reaction to the Draco HBP poster at George st Cinemas the other week, and my delight at reports of how much of a sweetheart he is in his twitter, I'm pretty sure I should take this as a sign that, somehow, I appear to have fallen in love with Tom Felton.

I really have no idea how this happened. I was never that fussed about Malfoy, and don't follow the fandom terribly closely. It must be the hair. He has such pretty hair.* Or the face. I do quite like his face.... And, um. Yes. The grinning is happening again.

Reeeeally want to see the new movie now. Already wanted to see it for the inappropriate comments potential, but now for the silent inner-fussing that's sure to come whenever he's on screen as well.

...

...

... STOP GRINNING, WOMAN!

*Not in the new movie though. Dear god what is wrong with the hair people on these films? They've done the same thing to Daniel Radcliffe (who I've found ridiculously adorable since his first appearance on Rove a couple of years ago revealed him to be a total dork. Also, there was the play-flirting and kiss with Rove, which was just far too funny and cute. I like him very much, though not in a crushy, fangirly way - even though he's quite a nice looking boy when he's doing his own damn hair), and I just don't get it.

i honestly don't see it! like, good lord, he's not bad in any way, but he's not that great either. same with... most people in the hp films, actually. sean biggerstaff (heeeeeeehee) was good, but apart from that i'm largely limited to the older actors - crazy gary oldman, for example.

well, for the guys. i'd probably melt if i met bonnie wright

I don't get it either! It just... IS. For some reason. I think I might have a thing for blonds?

Most of the HP cast is only just okay, really. There are very few I'd consider really gorgeous. Emma Watson is the big exception - she's turned out just stunning. David Thewlis doesn't look terribly hot, but I have a lot of love for the man himself, and Helena Bonham Carter can pretty much do no wrong.

Much as I love Gary Oldman (and I so do), I find his stage presence really creepy in everything but Rosencrantz and Guildenstern and Batman. I always find it funny when I hear people swoon over him. And, Bonnie Wright? Seriously?! How?

OH MY GOD WE ARE NOT HAVING THIS CONVERSATION AGAIN.

emma watson, i Do Not Get. absolutely and completely Do Not Get Anything About Her. i don't find her attractive, i don't find her ugly, i don't find anything about her features to sway me either way; she is like the epitome of "oh okay" for me. and i really like thewlis as lupin, but as nothing else. bonham carter used to be absolutely stunning, though, i'll give you that

she's so cute! i have a love of redheads that i make no apologies for, and i just wish there was some excuse to put alicia witt in a hp film. i know bonnie's smile is sort of meh, but SHE IS SO ADORKABLE (http://www.teenidols4you.com/blink/Actors/bonnie_wright/bonnie_wright_1176734914.jpg)

OKAY WE'RE NOT GOSH. how about that state of origin-- oh wait

But, but, have you not seen her? Seriously. She's got this great classic beauty thing going on. I'm not a huge fan of Thewlis as Remus (he's my favourite character and that's just not how I picture him, though Thewlis does do a nice enough job), and in a lot of other roles I've seen him in he's massively unpleasant (Dragonheart, that one with Leonardo Dicaprio and the terrifying age difference), but then there's his part in All the Invisible Children (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_the_invisible_children), and his interviews, and he's just such a dear.

Okay, so, in that picture, I'll grant you. And I can't begrudge anyone a liking of redheads (not without betraying half my family and potential future children). Carry on, good sir.

If that's a bit of a stab at NSW, I feel I should remind you that I am a Queensland supporter, (http://sjazzmreow.livejournal.com/36713.html) and we've already won. So XP on you, AFL boy.

i don't get classic beauty! like, i can see it in some cases, but i am a sex appeal/inoffensive gorgeousness sort of guy. classical beauty always ends up appearing to me as like "well some of her facial features are stronger than others, but not in a bad way, so i guess it's pretty cool". i'm not saying that's how it is, i'm just saying, that's all i ever get from people described as such unless they also have sex appeal

oh yeah. ...crap. well in that case, CONGRATULATIONS. and XP on you too, i follow many codes!
