Oh hello, you'd commented on my FFR post wondering about the fandom of the relationship I was describing. I used A/B terms over there because the author reads FFR and the fic appears to have been written as a giftfic for me, and I'd prefer to keep it in A/B terms over there.
Anyway, fandom is Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney. B is Miles Edgeworth, the protagonist's childhood friend-turned-rival-redeemed-and-turned-friend. A is Edgeworth's teacher/substitute father Manfred von Karma, who raised the boy after his father (and von Karma's most hated enemy) died, and turned Miles into another version of himself as proxy revenge. It is ~*~*~so much fun to play with~*~*~ as gen or as slash, but it tends to get DONE WRONG and turned into abuse and noncon.
