Friends, would you believe. It was on while I was cooking tea. The one where Ross, Monica, Joey and Elle Macpherson are dancing for a pretaped New Years Eve party. At the end, Joey makes a crack that now they know what New Year's gonna be like, including a "so much for Y2K" kind of thing, then kisses Elle Macpherson (which anyone could see coming. I mean, duh). I thought, 'oh yeah, Y2K. I remember that. Y-2-K' and then I just got it, and I was like, "ooooooh".

I was eleven at the time, thought it was like some computer term. It's all so much clearer now.

Ah the wisdom of old age!

*snickers, apologetically*

Really? Wow.

I don't think I got it at the time by myself, I'm pretty sure my dad explained it to me.

Well, it never really occured to me at the time that it would stand for anything. I just thought the computer people called it that for technical reasons and no adults ever told me otherwise...

Oh shush.
