I think I find Zac Efron hot

Tonight, my sister (who is here staying with me for the week - yay! More on that later, but for now let it be known that this is partially why I've not been online much. The rest of the reason has to do with what a particularily astute and surprised Telstra man called "my Building's hodge podge, insane mess of a wiring system" that has ensured I've not been getting any bills and therefore not paying so Telstra cut my phone off. ANYWAY) and I went to the movies.

We saw 17 Again, which was actually really good. The idea's a huge cliche`, but the execution was great, and it was clever, very funny, and I liked it far, far more than I expected. The subplot with the friend and the principal was especially inspired. Also, Matthew Perry. Seriously you guys, I highly recommened it. (To everyone but K, because embarrassment squick liek whoa. It could have been so, so much worse, but I was still hugging my legs a lot in it)

However, while watching it, I realised something strange and rather unexpected: I think I find Zac Efron hot.

Like, really, seriously attractive. Not in the Highschool Musical movies era, because yeahno, but in this? He is gorgeous. Especially at the beginning with the curly hair. He has a really long body, which I soooo like in a man (possibly we could trace this back to anime, but we don't need to go there), and moves really well (fecking cool dance scene at the start, yo), and has good timing delivery and a good voice and is a savvy guy who is good at his job, and in this he had that paternal thing going on, which is really very nice and. Um, yeah. He's a bit of alright, I reckon.

Also, for the first like, half an hour or so I was totally shipping him with the blond bully dude.

I am... somewhat mortified at myself. My thirteen year old, Highschool Musical obsessed cousin actually had a point. Which is just not on.

If I start fancying those Zack and Cody kids from the Disney channel someone send help (and possibly the authorities, because, as I said to my cousin when she was fussing over them and asked me "don't you think they're sooo cute, Stell?", honey, if I were to dig them, that would be worrying).

did... did you not see the muscles? i'm not sure how you could've missed them, but apparently you did. because um, they're... they're pretty persuasive, as far as i'm concerned. they make some salient points. about hugh. and his muscles. yes.

I saw them, and they were very impressive, I just didn't really... um, care... much? Theoretically I totally understand everything you're saying, but I just can't muster anything approaching interest in Hugh Jackman.

I understand the appeal of the cuddleyly attractive - I mean, I have a bizarre and all consuming passion for men in cardigans, (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y248/clomoo/new%20icons/Misc/jpc523.png) which is rivaled only by my ridiculous crush on Germany and German film and TV, which I consider to be the most adorable thing in the world, and there are so many adorable German boys I just want to squeeze. And hey, I want to marry Colin Firth almost entirely because he is just so damn lovely.

that is understandable, i guess. but i think most men who wear cardigans (i'm going to be honest, i don't encounter them that often) are too far out the nice side for me to me to even consider them as anything other than like, teddy bears. and, you know, ew. teddy bears. i think we'll have to disagree on this vital point :p

oh, kitten now? well then, all is forgiven. ;) but i... i just appreciate guys? aesthetically? i honestly don't think i'd ever do anything sexual with one, but i can find them sexy, if that makes sense. (cuddling is another matter, of course) both genders are subjects of my objectification, and they like it, dammit

It is rare that I ever really dig a guy (in real life. The Boy Who Looks Like River Pheonix is the real big exception. Anything else is minor perving mostly for the lols), so you may have a point there.

Ah! But, cardigans are not limited to the nice guy! For it is the cardigan itself that is cuddly, not necesariy the person in it! Cardigans can make a guy seem more vulnerable, like he's hiding away in it. They have connotations! And, I am not at all lucid enough to properly disect this at the moment, but essentially I mean cardigans used in texts (because you don't really encounter them that often in everyday life), the IDEA of the man in a cardigan.

That's a good boy. :P To further make it up to you, shall I share my taste in women? Because I know exactly what you mean with the appreciating minus the sexual (though my cuddles are given out rarely and discriminately, I'm afraid.
